What are some examples of Web sites where you must provide information about yourself in order to participate? Some examples of websites where you must provide information about yourself in order to participate is mypace, facebook, tagged, yahoo, and google.


  • What is identity theft? An identity thief uses someone else's private identity information to pretend to be that person.

How do private identity information and personal information differ?
The private identity is when you add your first name, postal address, email address, phone numbers, passwords, calling card numbers, credit card numbers, social security number, mother's maiden name. But your personal information asks for is your age, whether you are male or female, how many brothers and sisters you have, your favorite band, your favorite, how many pets yous have, the name of your pet, your opinion about an important issue.
  • What would be a good rule for kids about giving private identity information online? A good rule for kids that give out their private identity information online is to think before you do, because the information that you give out is very variable , you have to be careful when your feeling out certain information on certain websites because you never know what might happen with that information someone could steal your identity. Be careful
